1. What measures are you taking during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic to protect customers and the Oh Goodie Goodies team?

Oh Goodie Goodies is closely monitoring guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO), as well as the actions taken by local, State and Federal government agencies.

We have implemented several stringent measures to protect the health and safety of our team without hindering our ability to serve our customers.

As of March 9th, 2020, all employees able to work remotely were immediately required to do so.

To protect the health and safety of our warehouse team, access to the facility has been strictly limited to individuals representing our shipping carriers, and they are confined to an area of the warehouse upon arrival.

Masks and temperature checks have been made available to the warehouse team, while fastidious hygiene, safe distancing and additional cleanliness practices have also been employed.

 

Our shipping carriers, such as the US Postal Service (USPS), FedEx and UPS continue to deliver Oh Goodie Goodies orders across the United States, although we are currently unable to guarantee our usual same day domestic shipping.

Regarding the safety of delivered packages, the CDC, WHO and Surgeon General state that there is very low risk of coronavirus spreading from products and packages, because of the “poor survivability of these coronaviruses on surfaces.” The various temperatures that packages go through during the delivery process – sometimes taking days – mean that coronaviruses are not likely to survive.

As a precaution, Dr Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, has confirmed that while the chances of the coronavirus being transferred via delivered packages is very low, it is recommended that everyone wipe these down if possible.

2. Do you ship internationally?

Yes we do. However, because of the coronavirus (COVID-19) if you spot a product that you absolutely love and have to have, but find that it somehow, weirdly, doesn’t ship to your destination, simply email us at queries@ohgoodiegoodies.com, and we’ll give you a delivery quote based on the size and weight of your order, and your address. Should you want to then place your order, we’ll quickly guide you through the process.

 

3. What does delivery cost?

The delivery cost is displayed when you view your cart before checkout.

 

4. How much will it cost to ship internationally?

International shipping is calculated based on a number of factors, including the number of items per order, the weight and size of the product(s), and the destination. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout, but we may be able to provide alternative, more economical delivery options. Simply email us at orders@ohgoodiegoodies.com with the name of the product you want to order and your postal code, and we’ll let you know if we can help.

5. How much will I be charged for duties and customs on international orders?

Please be aware that the customer is responsible for payment of all levied taxes, duties and customs charges, which are set by your country’s customs agencies. These vary by country and we are unfortunately unable to provide you with an estimate of these fees.

We urge you to check the rules and costs of your country regarding taxes and duties before placing your order.

6. Do you offer alternative shipping options?

Yes we do. Although we currently offer USPS delivery as it is the most economical, contact orders@ohgoodiegoodies.com to find out about other options.

7. How long will it take to get my order?

Your shopping cart and your order confirmation email will detail the expected delivery date for your order. These are estimations, and delays at customs and other factors out of our control may delay your order’s arrival.

8. Will I receive a notification that my order has shipped, and will I receive tracking information?

Yes, you will. You will receive an email from Oh Goodie Goodies as soon as your order has shipped. This email will also contain your tracking number, with an estimated date of delivery.

9.  My order never arrived.

Check your order confirmation email for the tracking number, which will tell you exactly where it is. Or send us an email at queries@ohgoodiegoodies.com, tell us what you ordered, your order number, and we’ll help you out.

10. How do I return a damaged or defective product?

A damaged product is one that has been damaged in shipping. If your order arrived with apparent shipping damage, please refuse delivery. If you’ve already accepted delivery, and only then discover shipping damage, please save all packaging and paperwork. Send us an email at returns@ohgoodiegoodies.com, tell us exactly what you ordered and your order number, and we’ll help you. 

A defective product is one that does not work, but has no apparent damage. Please email us at returns@ohgoodiegoodies.com and we will arrange for a replacement.

11. I would like to return my order.

We’re happy to do a refund or exchange if you aren’t 100% happy with your order. As long as the product you’ve ordered is new, unused, in perfect condition and in its original packaging, all you have to do is send it back to us within 20 days of ordering. We’ll refund your purchase price, excluding shipping and handling charges (see our Terms & Conditions).

12. I was distracted when placing my order and accidentally put the wrong info in. Help!

Hey, we’ve all been there, but you will have to contact us before the order ships (within 12 hours of ordering). Send us an email at returns@ohgoodiegoodies.com as soon as possible, and let’s see what we can do.

13. I’ve changed my mind about an order and want to cancel it.

Contact us within 4 hours of ordering and we’ll ensure the order is canceled and your account is refunded.  Email us at returns@ohgoodiegoodies.com

However, if your order has already shipped by the time you cancel it in writing, we will be unable to cancel it or refund it until it has been delivered. Once you receive the item, you may return it to us, and we will happily process a refund or exchange. Please note that in order to qualify for a refund on such a return, you will have to return the product to us within 20 days of ordering.

14. How am I refunded for items I’ve bought and returned?

As soon as we’ve received and processed your return, your account will be refunded.

15. What are you going to do with my details?

Your personal information is only used for fulfilling your order and communicating with you through our monthly e-newsletter. We will never share or distribute your details with any third party. Please check out our Privacy Policy for more info.

16. I would love to contribute to your blog, or be featured on the blog. Is this possible?
