This chunky wooden nativity puzzle for a 3 year old and older is a lovely teaching gift for Advent and the Christmas season. Explain the story of the birth of Jesus to your little one, helping them to hone their fine motor skills and spatial orientation as they put each piece back on the board. Helpfully, each puzzle space is painted to show where each piece should be placed.

Alternatively, the puzzle pieces are sturdy enough to stand on their own, allowing children to set up a nativity scene of their own.

The 11 pieces are brightly painted on both sides with child-safe, water-based paints, and include a baby Jesus, Joseph, Virgin Mary, three wise men, barn, palm tree, an angel, donkey and lamb.
