Yut Nori Korean Family Game
Overview
Let’s play Yut Nori! This traditional Korean family game is centuries-old. It’s a very popular stick toss game that includes wooden tossing sticks (yut) and tokens (mal), and an easy-to-clean game board made of greyboard, rather than of the traditional cloth or paper. This also means that the board sits flat on surfaces.
Most often played on Korean New Year (Seollal), Yut Nori is similar to Ludo, Pachisi and Go, and comes with an instruction manual for newbies. There are also bonus rules for the more seasoned player, including Seoul, Busan and Back Do.
Note: The game board is smaller than the Yut Nori sets from Korea,
